Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is just as savvy off the floor as he is on an NBA hardwood.

Fully aware of the opportunities that a man of his global stature has, Giannis is not hesitating to strike while the iron is hot. Not long after establishing the parent company, Ante, Inc., Giannis and his family have made the next move, investing in Candy Funhouse, a Canadian candy company that’s looking to expand its business to the United States and the rest of the world.

Candy brings joy

Giannis has been known to partake in his share of candy courtside, so it makes sense for the Greek Freak to put his name behind a company renowned for its sweet treats.

"It doesn't matter how you are; candy brings joy," Giannis said in a YouTube video announcing the partnership. "I'm so excited to give joy to a lot of people around the world. Obviously, I hope I give people joy with the things I do on the court, but it's so exciting to do things off the court and bring joy to people."

Candy CEO excited to work with Giannis

Candy Funhouse CEO Jamal Hejazi added that he’s excited to have the Bucks’ main man as a partner.

"We are extremely excited and honored to have Giannis and the Antetokounmpo family, owners of Ante Inc., join the Candy Funhouse team as owners and collaborators," said Hejazi in a statement.

"At Candy Funhous, we strive to spread joy through memorable experiences, and with his example of hard work, and dedication to spread positivity, Giannis embodies exactly what the Candy Funhouse brand stands for. Which is why we could not be more thrilled to have the Antetokounmpos represent our brand."
