Alex Caruso remains questionable to play in rematch vs. Philadelphia 76ers

Alex Caruso's status for the Bulls' next game remains up in the air.

The Chicago Bulls defensive specialist Alex Caruso remains questionable to play in their upcoming rematch against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday at the United Center. On Monday, the Bulls pulled off an incredible 109-105 double-overtime win over the Sixers at the Wells Fargo Center and look to repeat against the Eastern Conference powerhouse.

Foot injury

Caruso, a six-year pro, missed Monday’s game after he hurt his foot once again against the Miami Heat last weekend. This led to Patrick Williams returning to the starting lineup and backup guard Coby White playing more minutes.

Williams finished with six points, four boards, and two assists in 32 minutes of action, while White provided some firepower off the bench with 11 points, three rebounds, and two assists. If Caruso misses Wednesday’s game, Bulls fans can expect more of the same rotation adjustments from Bulls coach Billy Donovan.

Javonte Green probable to play

After a long absence due to a debridement procedure last January, Javonte Green finally made his return to the Bulls lineup on Monday and chipped in a rebound and a steal in nine minutes of playing time against the 76ers. After missing 34 straight games, Green looked spry and appeared ready to take on a more prominent role off the bench as the regular season comes to a close.
