The Chicago Bulls are hiring Philadelphia 76ers senior vice president of player personnel Marc Eversley as general manager, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

A deal between new Bulls executive VP of basketball operations Arturnas Karnisovas and Eversley was apparently reached early Monday morning.

Eversley emerged from a search that also reportedly included Dallas VP of basketball operations Michael Finley, Orlando assistant GM Matt Lloyd, LA Clippers assistant GM Mark Hughes and CAA agent Austin Brown.

Eversley has been with the 76ers since 2016 and has also spent time in the front offices of the Washington Wizards and Toronto Raptors. He was considered a candidate for the 76ers' GM position before the team hired Elton Brand.
