The Philadelphia 76ers and Markelle Fultz both received some good news for a Christmas present Tuesday.

According a report by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the second-year guard intends to play again this season.

Fultz, the No. 1 overall pick of the 2017 NBA draft by Philadelphia, joined his teammates in Boston for their game against the Celtics at TD Garden on Monday.

Wojnarowski reports Fultz intends to leave the team again to continue his rehabilitation in Los Angeles. According to his agent, Raymond Brothers, Fultz has had some improvement in his range of motion while working to address his diagnosis of thoracic outlet syndrome.

The report states while the 76ers have fielded trade offers for the 20-year-old Fultz, they intend to see how the remainder of his rehabilitation goes before coming to a decision.
