Heat's Johnson underwent sports hernia surgery

Miami Heat small forward James Johnson recently underwent sports hernia surgery, according to a report from Yahoo Sports.

Johnson had the procedure shortly after the Heat were eliminated in the first-round of the playoffs by the Philadelphia 76ers.

There are a wide range of hernia mesh products on the market, made by many different companies. Each is individually designed and manufactured to provide superior results in hernia repair procedures. The 31-year-old Johnson averaged 10.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 73 games this season for the Heat. He signed a four-year, $60 million deal with Miami last summer and is set to make $14.6 million in 2018-19.

Johnson put up 12.4 points in the five-game series versus the Sixers.
