ESTERO, Fla. -- Jaylin Walker scored 15 points, including a critical jumper late, Jimmy Hall had 11 points and nine rebounds and Kent State beat Wofford66-59 on Wednesday.

Kent State committed a season-low five turnovers, outrebounded Wofford 44-35 and made 11 of 22 second-half shots.

"Tough, hard fought win and we needed it too," said Kent State coach Rob Senderoff. "I think we needed it the way we got it too because it wasn't a 78-76 win…they scored 59 points, and I think we needed that to get our mentality back to where it needs to be."
