Lakers said to still be contemplating coaching change

The Los Angeles Lakers may be contemplating a coaching change, with current ESPN analyst Mark Jackson in their sights, according to Chris Sheridan of GetMoreSports.

"I keep getting intel on the Lakers and the job security of Luke Walton," Sheridan reported. "Some stories you can single source, some you can double-source, and some you need to triple- or quadruple source. This is the latter."

Sheridan is a longtime NBA insider and former ESPN employee himself. He was the first to accurately call LeBron James' return to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2014, then James' departure last July, citing sources each time.

According to Sheridan, Jackson is indeed a possibility should the Lakers eventually decide on a change. "He broadcasts in purple and gold from time to time,"

He was replaced by Steve Kerr and the Warriors have won three of four championships since.
