Lakers rookie guard D'Angelo Russell has been made available in trade talks, per Sirius XM Radio host and HoopsCritic.com founder Brian Geltzeiler.

Russell was selected with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. He spent one season at Ohio State and is averaging 12.2 points and 3.6 rebounds with the Lakers.

The Hawks are fielding trade offers from several teams for point guard Jeff Teague, but one of them is not the Knicks, per Geltzeiler. Earlier reports stated the Hawks and Knicks were discussing a deal centered on Teague.

The Nuggets are among the teams expected to make a run at Hawks swingman Kent Bazemore in free agency over the summer, per The Denver Post. Bazemore will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.

The Pelicans are listening to trade offers for swingman Tyreke Evans, per Sheridan Hoops.

The Bulls have explored the trade market for big man Pau Gasol in talks that more often have focused on center Joakim Noah and power forward Taj Gibson, per Bleacher Report.

The Suns would like to make at least one trade before the Feb. 18 deadline and perhaps more, GM Ryan McDonough told Arizona Sports 98.7 FM radio.

The Suns intend to sign D-League guard Jordan McRae to a 10-day contract, per Yahoo Sports. McRae currently plays for the Delaware 87ers (the 76ers' affiliate) and is coming off a 61-point game vs. the Canton Charge.

President of basketball operations Larry Bird told NBA.com the Pacers "are not a contender" for a championship. "With our young guys, going forward, if we get the right pieces, yeah, we can be right back in it," Bird told the website. "But I don’t think right now with what we have as far as a solid group, I don’t think we’re a contender."

The Cavs officially hired ex-Suns assistant Mike Longabardi as an assistant coach Wednesday, per the team.

Former Cavaliers swingman Shawn Marion told Sirius XM radio that his role with the team last season was "challenging," and that he felt former coach David Blatt struggled to adjust to the NBA game.

D-League swingman Thanasis Antetokounmpo will sign a 10-day contact with the Knicks, per the New York Post. Antetokounmpo is the brother of Bucks swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo, and has been playing for the Knicks' affiliate in Westchester, N.Y.
