The Los Angeles Lakers have scheduled a final get-together with UCLA guard Lonzo Ball before the draft, The Vertical reported.

According to the website, Ball and the Lakers will meet Friday. He has already worked out for the team once, with reports of his performance mostly mixed.

Per The Vertical:

The Lakers’ brass will spend a significant part of the day watching the possible No. 2 overall draft pick’s full training regimen, which includes conditioning drills and on-court workouts, league sources said.

LA owns the No. 2 overall pick. Ball is widely considered a top-five prospect and has made it clear he would prefer to play for his hometown Lakers above everyone else.

Ball is 6-foot-6 and averaged 14.6 points and 7.7 assists in his lone season with the Bruins.

The NBA draft is scheduled for June 22.

Assuming Washington guard Markelle Fultz goes first to the Boston Celtics, the Lakers are said to be considering Ball, Kansas forward Josh Jackson and Kentucky guard De'Aaron Fox.
