NBA players on Avery Bradley not making All-Defensive Team

When the NBA All-Defensive teams were announced on Monday, there was one very notable exception from both the first and second team; Boston Celtics shooting guard Avery Bradley:

Bradley, who made First Team last season, is arguably the best defensive guard on the planet, and nobody knows that better than the players who have to go up against him. NBA Players took to twitter to express their disbelief:

As Sean Highkin of The Athletic noted, the outrage from Bradley's peers is evidence enough that he was snubbed:

Jared Sullinger, Bradley's former teammate, weighed in:

As did Bradley's teammate, Isaiah Thomas. Thomas, who for some reason received one All-Defensive Team vote, knows full well how good of a defender Bradley is; Bradley covers for Thomas' deficiencies on that end year round.

Even Nick Van Exel, former NBA player and current Memphis Grizzlies assistant coach, voiced his disagreement:
