Former No. 2 overall draft pick Emeka Okafor is working on a comeback to the NBA, per a report from The Associated Press.

Okafor, 35, was selected one pick after Dwight Howard by the Charlotte Hornets in 2004. He most recently spent time with the Washington Wizards, averaging 9.7 points and 8.8 rebounds during the 2012-13 season.

Per The Associated Press:

Emeka Okafor will turn 35 in September, but after working out still feels like he has plenty left in the tank.

Okafor is 6-foot-10 and along with Charlotte and Washington, spent part of his career with Washington. He said in the winter that he planned to attempt a comeback.
