Butler shipped to Wolves for LaVine, Dunn, pick

Chicago Bulls star Jimmy Butler had been traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn and the No. 7 overall draft pick, according to a report from The Vertical.

Butler is back playing for Tom Thibodeau, the former coach of the Bulls and current head of basketball operations and coach of the Wolves.

Butler had been the center of talks involving numerous teams, the Wolves moving in at the last minute.

The Bulls now will be building around youth and the veteran leadership of Dwyane Wade.
