Mavericks may be contender for Holidays
The Dallas Mavericks may be a serious contender to land New Orleans Pelicans free agent point guard Jrue Holiday, according to a report from Sports Illustrated.
The report added that the Mavericks may also have an interest in Jrue's older brother, swingman Justin Holiday, most recently of the New York Knicks.
The Holiday brothers have strong interest to play together, per sources, and Justin played w/ Harrison Barnes on Warriors' 2015 title team.

Jrue Holiday, 27, averaged 15.7 points and 7.3 assists in 67 games with this past season. The Pelicans believe Holiday is likely to return to them even if he should explore other offers.
Justin Holiday, 28, averaged 7.7 points last season with the Knicks, playing in all 82 games.
The Mavericks finished 33-49 in a rare non-playoff year.
