Report: Magic may be looking to trade Vucevic

Orlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic is likely to be made available on the trade market, according to a report from Michael Scotto of The Athletic.

Vucevic's contract expires at the end of the season and the Magic have a now-crowded frontcourt that also features Jonathan Isaac, Timofey Mozgov, Jarell Martin, Khem Birch and lottery pick Mo Bamba.

Vucevic, 27, appeared in 57 games last season and averaged 16.5 points, 9.2 rebounds and career-high 3.4 assists.

With that type of production, the Magic would have little trouble moving the 7-footer before the February trade deadline, if that is indeed being considered.

"The Lakers immediately come to mind as one club that fits that bill, though there are others that could qualify, especially if teams are hit by the injury bug or if the Magic are willing to take on multiyear contracts in a hypothetical trade," wrote Luke Adams of HoopsRumors.
