Do Spurs have Clippers star Paul on radar?

The San Antonio Spurs have to reconsider their roster, and perhaps look at some serious changes, following their sweep from the Western Conference finals at the hands of the Golden State Warriors.

And perhaps the idea of reshuffling has already begun.

During an interview with ESPN’s Kevin Arnovitz on his podcast on Tuesday, colleague Zach Lowe said he thinks there is legitimacy behind the speculation that Paul will go to the San Antonio Spurs next season.

“There’s been a lot of rumblings about Chris Paul, and I think that’s real,” Lowe says. “I think there’s mutual interest there. I don’t know how real it is given the Clippers can offer a gigantic amount of money and are also a really good team; and the Spurs, like I said, have no sort of cap flexibility to get there. I’m very curious about what they do this summer and who’s on the team next year.”

Along with rumors of Paul, it is believed the Spurs will try to shop everyone from shooting guard Danny Green to swingman Kyle Anderson to even power forward LaMarcus Aldridge.

Also, there's talk that Manu Ginobili could retire and Tony Parker could be dealt as a "throw-in" for a standout player.

The Spurs have to make some moves, and they're well aware. How far those moves go could be one of the offseason's biggest storylines.
