It's on to the next team for the well-traveled DeAndre Liggins.

That's because the veteran swingman was waived by the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday, the team announced in a press release.

"The Pelicans save a little money by cutting Liggins loose, as he was due to receive $75K if he remained on the roster at the beginning of September," Dana Garauder of Hoops Rumors wrote. "Liggins was due to make $1.8MM if he had remained on the roster through January 10."

Liggins, 30, signed with the Pelicans on Jan. 10 and appeared in 27 games, averaging 1.6 points and 1.0 rebounds. The 6-foot-6 wing has also spent time with the Orlando Magic, Oklahoma City Thunder, Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks and Dallas Mavericks.
