The New Orleans Pelicans have received permission to interview several front-office candidates for their general manager position, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Among those the Pelicans will speak with are Warriors assistant GM Larry Harris, Nets assistant GM Trajan Langdon and Rockets vice president of basketball operations Gersson Rosas, Wojnarowski said.

The New Orleans gig came open with the team fired Dell Demps just after the trade deadline in February. Danny Ferry has been serving as interim GM.

Rosas and Harris interviewed for the Philadelphia job last summer, Rosas being a finalist before the job went to Elton Brand. Rosas, who was also seriously considered for the GM job in Charlotte, pulled his name from the candidates to become Pistons general manger last summer, with Detroit option to hire Ed Stefanski as senior advisor. Langdon was named as a prime candidate for a job in the Pistons' front office last summer.
