Pistons' Kennard expected to miss up to a month
Detroit Pistons shooting guard Luke Kennard has a sprained shoulder and will miss at least two weeks, the team announced in a news release.
An MRI revealed the injury Friday.
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported that the injury is likely to keep Kennard sidelined for three or four weeks.
Kennard, 22, injured the shoulder after running into a screen during Thursday's win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The No. 7 overall pick in 2017 averaged 7.6 points last season, while shooting 42-percent on 3-pointers.
Kennard's injury could mean more playing time for Langston Galloway and perhaps Glenn Robinson III.
The Pistons are 4-0 under new coach Dwane Casey.
