Robinson released in Lebanon after BIG3 injury revealed
Former NBA guard and Slam-Dunk contest champion Nate Robinson has been released by Lebanon club Homenetmen Beirut after it was revealed that a Robinson injury required further treatment.
He had signed with Homenetmen Beirut just three days earlier.
Robinson apparently suffered the unspecified injury while playing in the BIG3 during the summer. He did not play in the NBA last season, but rather appeared in three games with Venezuelan club Guaros de Lara.
Robinson, 34, is 5-foot-9 and played in the NBA from 2005-15 with eight different teams, including the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls and Denver Nuggets.
He has also spent time in Israel and the G-League.
