With Kemba Walker apparently headed out, the Charlotte Hornets are "scouring the market" for a new point guard, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Walker is signing a four-year deal with the Boston Celtics, Wojnarowski reported, leaving a gaping hole in the Hornets' backcourt.

Per Wojnarowski, the Hornets are considering veteran options such as Elfrid Payton, T.J. McConnell, Ish Smith and Emmanuel Mudiay.

Payton averaged 10.6 points, 7.6 assists and 5.2 rebounds in 42 games with the New Orleans Pelicans this past season.

McConnell averaged 6.4 points and 3.4 assists in 76 games with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Smith compiled averages of 8.9 points and 3.6 assists in 56 games with the Detroit Pistons, and Mudiay averaged 14.8 points and 3.9 assists in 59 games with the New York Knicks.
