Magic retain All-Star big man Vucevic on four-year deal

The Orlando Magic agreed to a four-year, $100 million contract with All-Star center Nikola Vucevic to return, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.

Vucevic, 28, averaged career-highs in points (20.8), rebounds (12.0) and assists (3.8) while matching his career-best in blocked shots (1.1) in 31.4 minutes in 80 games this season, shooting 51.8 percent from the field, a career-high 36.4 percent from deep along with 78.9 percent from the free-throw line.

He played the past four seasons on a rookie-scale extension worth just more than $45 million.

The 7-foot, 260-pounder was the 18th overall pick of the 2011 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers.
