Jazz add power forward Davis on two-year agreement

The Utah Jazz are signing power forward Ed Davis to a two-year, $10 million contract, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Earlier in the day, the Jazz signed sharpshooter Bojan Bogdanovic. Utah traded with the Memphis Grizzlies to add point guard Mike Conley on June 19.

Davis, 30, averaged 5.8 points and 8.6 rebounds in 17.9 minutes in 81 games (1 start) for the Brooklyn Nets last season, shooting 61.6 percent from the field and 61.7 percent from the free-throw line.

The 6-foot-10, 225-pound Davis was the 13th overall pick of the 2010 NBA Draft out of North Carolina by the Toronto Raptors.

Davis carries career averages of 6.5 points and 6.8 boards in 20.2 minutes in 640 games (95 starts), shooting 56.9 percent from the floor and 58.4 percent from the charity stripe in nine NBA seasons.
