The Brooklyn Nets have extended a qualifying offer to shooting guard Theo Pinson, making him a restricted free agent, as reported by Michael Scotto of The Athletic.
Pinson is coming off a rookie season in which he spent the majority of time in the G League on a two-way contract. He appeared in 18 games with the Nets and averaged 4.5 points.
His two-way deal was converted to a standard contract late in the season.
Pinson earned All-G League Second Team after compiling averages of 20.7 points and 6.1 assists in 34 games with the Long Island Nets.
