Oklahoma City Thunder center Nerlens Noel is declining the player option on his contract and will become an unrestricted free agent, according to Shams Charania of Stadium.

Noel's option was worth $1.9 million.

"Noel and Thunder will discuss potential reunion, but several other teams are expected to express interest," Charania reported.

Noel, 25, is 6-foot-11 and was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the No. 6 overall draft pick in 2013. He was traded to the Dallas Mavericks in 2016. He signed with the Thunder last July.

Noel averaged 4.9 points and 4.2 rebounds in 77 appearances with the Thunder this past season.
