Poll: What's your favorite basketball movie?
We here at Amico Hoops like to believe we knowing at least a little something about basketball.
(OK, hoops fans, humor us, anyway).
But no one knows more about basketball than Shooter, from the iconic movie, "Hoosiers." Just ask him.
Shooter, played incredibly by DennisHopper, said, "I know everything there is to know about the greatest game ever invented."
Well, we here at Amico Hoops certainly pale in comparison to Shooter's knowledge of the game, so we come to you, Loyal Readers, for some assistance.
We'd like to here your takes on your favorite basketball movies of all-time, and not only that, but why your choice is atop your list.
As JesusShuttlesworth, played by RayAllen said in "He Got Game," "Basketball is like poetry in motion."
So, place your vote for your favorite roundball films -- and please be sure to comment below -- and if you're slam-dunk choice is not among the choices on the following list, please name your choice in the comments and tell us why.
We will follow up with our own choices and even include some of your choices and comments in that piece.
And, just in case you need a reference guide, here's a list of basketball movies, courtesy of imdb.com.
