    Both sides officially sign new NBA labor deal

    The NBA and NBA Players Association have officially signed a new collective bargaining agreement, it was announced in a joint statement on Thursday.

    The new labor deal is a seven-year agreement and will take effect on July 1, 2017, and run through the 2023-24 season.
