Bulls extend qualifying offer to Nwaba

The Chicago Bulls have extended a qualifying offer to David Nwaba, making him a restricted free agent July 1.

Shams Charania of Yahoo reports Chicago's qualifying offer to the shooting guard is for approximately $1.7 million for the 2018-19 season.

The 25-year-old Nwaba, regarded as an excellent defensive player, averaged 7.9 points and 4.7 rebounds in 23.5 minutes in 70 games for Chicago last season.
