The Boston Celtics have waived two-way guard Walter Lemon Jr., according to a report from Shams Charania of Stadium.

Lemon has spent most of his time with the Maine Red Claws of the G-League after going undrafted in 2014 out of Bradley.

He did not appear in a game with the Celtics after signing a two-way deal in July.

Lemon, 28, did play five games with the New Orleans Pelicans last season, as well as average 22.4 points in 40 games with the G-League's Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

The Celtics (11-10) host the Cleveland Cavaliers (4-16) on Friday night.
