Former first-round pick Hamilton signs with Israeli club

Former first-round pick and NBA swingman Jordan Hamilton has signed with Hapoel Tel Aviv of Israel.

Hamilton, 29, is 6-foot-6 and was drafted by the Denver Nuggets with the No. 29 overall pick in 2011. He has spent time with the Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers, New Orleans Pelicans and Houston Rockets. He has also played in the G League and for various overseas clubs.

Hamilton last appeared in the NBA during the 2015-16 season, when he averaged a career-high 11.4 points in 11 games with the Pelicans.

He carries NBA career averages of 5.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in a combined 151 career games.
