Hayes, Alexander joining Clippers summer league team

Former Portland Trail Blazers forward Cliff Alexander has joined the Los Angeles Clippers for summer league, according to Nicola Lupo of Sportando.

The Clippers have also signed former Wisconsin forward Nigel Hayes for their summer run, according to Jonathan Givony of ESPN.

Alexander went undrafted in 2015 out of Kansas. He spent part of the 2015-16 season with the Blazers, appearing in eight games.

Alexander is 6-foot-8 and has also spent plenty of time in the G League, as well as overseas, finishing last season in Germany.

Hayes is also 6-8 and went undrafted (2017). He has played overseas, in the G League and appeared in four total NBA games with the Los Angeles Lakers and Toronto Raptors.

The Clippers have yet to announce their official summer roster.
