DeAndre Jordan has opted out of his $24.1 million player option with the Los Angeles Clippers and will become a unrestricted free agent, according to multiple reports.
The Dallas Mavericks have Jordan as their top target in free agency, according to the New York Times.
Jordan had another productive season during the 2017-18 campaign. The big man averaged 12.0 points and 15.2 rebounds in 77 games while shooting 64.5 percent from the field.
Jordan, of course, committed to signing with the Mavs in 2015, but backed out and re-signed with the Clippers.
Dallas has forgiven Jordan and are eager to get him on board.
