Kidd the betting favorite to coach Lakers next season

As the Los Angeles Lakers head into the All-Star break, and with rumors LeBron James' "camp" would like to see a different man other than Luke Walton running the team, online SportsBook Bovada has installed one of James' favorite guys in the NBA as the favorite to take over for Walton should a move be made before next season.
Jason Kidd.
With James and his "camp," along with Lakers president Magic Johnson not being sold on Walton, not to mention, the hot-take comments by LaVar Ball, it comes as no surprise rumors are flying about Walton's status.
According to Bovada, Kidd, the former head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks and a star player in the league, is the odds-on favorite to be the Lakers' bench boss for the start of next season.
Kidd has been effusive in his praise for James through the years, including before he was fired by the Bucks last season.
