The Mavericks are looking for another shooter and could be interested in the Nets' Joe Johnson or Timberwolves' Kevin Martin should either be bought out by their current teams, per the Dallas Morning News.

The Pistons will sign forward Justin Harper to fill the team's final roster spot, per Yahoo Sports.

Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle is hopeful of re-signing shooting guard John Jenkins, per Mavs.com. Jenkins was waived Sunday to make room for forward/center David Lee.

The Bucks have signed forward Steve Novak, per the team. Novak was waived by the Nuggets after a trade from the Thunder last week.

The Heat, Rockets and Celtics have expressed interest in free agent forward Reggie Evans, per Basketball Insiders.

The Magic waived shooting guard Jared Cunningham, per the team. Cunningham was obtained in last week's three-team trade that included the Cavaliers and Trail Blazers.

The Warriors signed forward/center Anderson Varejao, per the team. Forward Jason Thompson was waived to make room for Varejao, the team announced. (Related post)

The Pistons and the NBA have voided a three-team trade between the Pistons, Rockets and 76ers after power forward Donatas Motiejunas failed a physical administered by the Pistons, per the NBA. Motiejunas, Marcus Thornton and a 2017 second-round pick will return to the Rockets, the Pistons will get back Joel Anthony and their top-eight protected 2016 first-round pick, and the Sixers will again own the rights of draft-and-stash player Chukwudiebere “Chu” Maduabum.

The Nuggets have signed forward JaKarr Sampson, per the team. Sampson, a Cleveland native, was waived by the 76ers last week.

The Knicks have signed guard Jimmer Fredette of the D-League's Westchester Knicks to a 10-day contract, per the team.

The Suns have waived power forward/center DeJuan Blair, per the team.
