Los Angeles Lakers rookie small forward Kyle Kuzma underwent a precautionary MRI on his back this morning after missing last night's home game against the Golden State Warriors due to back spasms.
Kuzma did not participate in practice on Thursday but did tell reporters walking by that he's feeling much better compared to yesterday.
Kuzma leads the Lakers in scoring at 16.7 points per game on 50.4 percent shooting overall and 37.9 percent from beyond the arc. He started 11 games while Larry Nance Jr. was sidelined with a hand injury and averaged 18.1 points.
The Lakers' next game is on Saturday when they travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets. It is unknown if Kuzma will play.
