The Dallas Mavericks and veteran point guard Devin Harris have agreed to a one-year deal, according to a report from Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.
Harris is signing a veteran’s minimum deal to return to Dallas.
The Mavericks lost Yogi Ferrell to the Sacramento Kings and were in need of guard depth.
Harris began this past season with Dallas, but was traded to the Denver Nuggets at the February trade deadline. The 14-year pro averaged 8.4 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 2017-18 while shooting 41.2 percent from the field and 34.8 percent from three.
Harris, 35, has played nine seasons with the Mavericks and holds overall career averages of 11.1 points, 2.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 917 NBA games.
