Kings add free agent guard Williams

Free agent point guard Marcus Williams has agreed to a contract with the Sacramento Kings, the team announced on its website.

Williams, 31, was selected by the Brooklyn Nets with the No. 22 overall pick in the 2006 draft following his junior season at Connecticut.

After four seasons in the NBA with the Nets, Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies, Williams has spent the majority of his time playing overseas.
