The Dallas Mavericks have withdrawn their qualifying offer to small forward Doug McDermott, according to a report from ESPN.
McDermott will now be an unrestricted free agent and is free to sign anywhere he wants.
McDermott began his NBA career with the Chicago Bulls in 2014. He was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2016.
McDermott's stay in OKC was short-lived, as the Thunder traded him to the New York Knicks in 2017 in the Carmelo Anthony deal. The sharpshooter was then traded to the Dallas Mavericks at the February trade deadline.
In his four-year career, McDermott has averages of 7.9 points and 2.3 rebounds, shooting 45.2 percent from the field and 42.6 percent from three.
