Nuggets won't get Harris back 'for a while'

The Denver Nuggets entered Friday with a record of 40-35, sitting in the 10th spot in the Western Conference standings. They are currently two full games back of the Utah Jazz for the eighth and final playoff spot out West and without a key player, starting shooting guard Gary Harris.

Harris, 23, has missed six straight games entering Friday due to a right knee injury.

Prior to their matchup against the OKC Thunder, Nuggets coach Mike Malone gave an update on Harris, saying the sharpshooter is out at least another week.

"Unfortunately, I don’t think we’re going to see him for a while," Malone told reporters.
