Free-agent swingman Quincy Pondexter has reached an agreement on a one-year deal with the San Antonio Spurs, according to a report from Chris Haynes of ESPN.
Pondexter played in 23 games for the Chicago Bulls this past season and averaged 2.0 points and 1.2 rebounds while shooting 28.6 percent from the field and 13.6 percent from three.
Pondexter missed the entire 2015-16 and 2016-17 season because of knee injuries. He began his career with the New Orleans Hornets in 2010 and has played for the Memphis Grizzlies and Pelicans as well.
In 302 NBA games, Pondexter has career averages of 5.0 points.
