Report: Cavs looking to deal Williams, McRae

As the preseason has winded down, the trade talks have been heating up.

Just hours after a rumor surfaced regarding the Timberwolves and Cavs' discussions involving Iman Shumpert, more potential talks have emerged with two other players on the team.

According to a report by ESPN, Cleveland has been actively shopping guard Mo Williams and swingman Jordan McRae.

Williams, who didn't report to training camp, had surgery on his left knee nine days ago. He is owed $2.2 million and, if waived, would receive his salary in full and force the Cavs to pay the full tax amount.

Due to this, the organization and Williams' agent have been working on a buyout agreement, but the negotiations are at a stalemate.

As for McRae, the Cavs would reportedly add him to a deal involving Williams to open up a roster spot. The 26-year-old averaged 14 points on 36 percent from three in six preseason games with Cleveland.
