Report: Pelicans' Davis expected to play vs. Cavs

New Orleans Pelicans star big man Anthony Davis is expected to play Saturday night against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers after missing the previous game with left knee quad tendinitis, according to a report by ESPN.

In the three games he has fully played in this season, Davis has been a monster, averaging 31.7 points and 17.3 rebounds while shooting 53.2 percent from the field and 45.5 percent from three.

The Cavs will have their hands full with Davis and DeMarcus Cousins, who is coming off a 41-point, 23-rebound performance against his former team, the Sacramento Kings.

Starting point guard Derrick Rose (left ankle) and reserve guard Dwyane Wade (knee) are officially listed as questionable for Cleveland.
