Jazz to be minus a whopping six players against Lakers

If you can play guard in the NBA, the Utah Jazz may just need your services on Friday night when they take on the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Jazz are going to be down a couple key guards on Friday night, as Dante Exum, Ricky Rubio and Raul Neto are all officially OUT.

Overall the team will not have six players in uniform for the contest. While the three guards will be out, also not playing are Grayson Allen, Tony Bradley and Thabo Sefolosha.

With six players out, the team will turn to Donovan Mitchell and Joe Ingles to handle most of the duties when it comes to handling the ball against the Lakers.

Naz Mitrou-Long will probably get some playing time as well as he's the only other healthy guard on the roster, and he's been playing mostly in the G-League this season putting up five points per game.

Rubio, Neto, and Sefolosha are all dealing with hamstring strains and will be looked at within a week by the teams' medical staff.

Exum and Allen are both dealing with sprains of their ankles, and Bradley suffered a knee injury while playing in the G-League.

Right now the Jazz are sitting in the ninth spot in the Western Conference standings with a 21-21 record.
