The Phoenix Suns are waiving point guard Isaiah Canaan, according to a report from Shams Charania of Stadium.
Canaan has started 15 games of 20 games for the young Suns this season, though as Charania mentioned, star guard Devin Booker has been running the point lately.
The Suns remain very much in the market for a point guard, and may have reached out to the Philadelphia 76ers to check the availability of Markelle Fultz, sources said. If they haven't yet, sources suspect they will eventually.
Canaan, 27, is averaging 7.5 points and 3.3 assists. The Suns waived Canaan in February as well before bringing him back.
