Warriors expect to get Thompson back Saturday
Golden State Warriors shooting guard KlayThompson has been out since March 11 after he suffered a fractured right thumb against the Minnesota Timberwolves, but the sharpshooter is expected to return Saturday (3/31) versus the Sacramento Kings.
"I feel great," Thompson told reporters Friday. "I've been shooting it great. I'm eager to get back out there. I feel like I'm probable (for tomorrow night)."
Warriors coach Steve Kerr said there's a good chance Thompson plays barring any late setbacks.
Thompson is averaging 19.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists this season. The Warriors will be without Stephen Curry for the first-round of the playoffs, meaning Thompson's shot attempts will go up.
