Kevin Love could return for tonight's home game against the New Orleans Pelicans, with the Cavaliers listing their All-Star forward as "questionable," according to reports out of shootaround.
Love has been going through the league's concussion protocol after getting hit in the mouth Tuesday at Miami. He participated in shootaround Friday, per Cleveland.com.
The website added that Love "still has tests to pass," citing a team spokesman.
Meanwhile, shooting guard J.R. Smith was sick and missed shootaround. He is also listed as questionable.
Also, swingman Kyle Korver has been out since March 19 following the death of his brother and will not play Friday. He has also been hampered by a bruised left foot.
The Cavs (45-30) have won five of six under acting coach Larry Drew. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. EST on ESPN.
Cavs coach Tyronn Lue will rejoin the team but not coach from the bench. (Full report)
