The Cleveland Cavaliers will waive rookie JaCorey Williams from the training camp roster to make room for Dwyane Wade, according to a report from Yahoo Sports.
Williams, the reigning Conference USA Player of the Year, went undrafted out of Middle Tennessee State. He was signed by the Cavs earlier this week.
Wade is expected to sign with Cleveland after clearing waivers Wednesday.
The Cavs still need to release or trade a member of the team with a guaranteed contract to make room for Wade on the final roster.
