INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- Cavaliers power forward Larry Nance Jr. is day-to-day after re-aggravating a thumb injury in Thursday's loss to Miami, coach John Beilein said.

The Cavs host Philadelphia on Sunday (3 p.m., FOX Sports Ohio).

Nance has been having problems with the thumb for several weeks. He jammed it on a breakaway dunk in the second half Thursday. He did not return to the game and had the thumb wrapped at Saturday's practice.

Nance is in his third season with his hometown team and has appeared in all 11 games. He is averaging 9.5 points and 7.0 rebounds off the bench, shooting a career-high 35 percent on 3-pointers.
