Cavs among those interested in Grizzlies' Evans

Memphis Grizzlies swingman Tyreke Evans has been made available in trade talks and there are sure to be no shortage of suitors.

Among those teams: The Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia 76ers, according to multiple reports.

The interest in Evans is no surprise, and more teams than the Cavs and Sixers are certainly express interest between now and the Feb. 8 trade deadline.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets, New Orleans Pelicans, Oklahoma City Thunder and Miami Heat have also explored an Evans trade.

While the Grizzlies have struggled, Evans is having one of his best seasons -- initiating offense for others, leading in the locker room, and averaging 19.5 points, 5.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds.

"A lot of people doubted me," Evans recently Grizzlies’ Evans is prepared if he’s dealt

">told reporters. "No one expected me to come back and play the way I’ve been playing."

The 28-year-old Evans is one of the biggest bargains in the league -- having signed a one-year pact with the Grizzlies for $3.3 million in July.
