Surgery has not been ruled out as a necessary option to repair the broken left hand suffered by KevinLove of the Cavaliers and is expected to be sidelined for up to two months, as originally feared, according to a report by Shams Charania of Yahoo.

Love, the Cavaliers' All-Star forward, is second on the team behind only LeBron James in scoring and is their leading rebounder.

He suffered the injury five minutes into a loss at Detroit on Tuesday night.
