Though Damian Lillard has a reputation for remaining loyal to the Portland Trail Blazers, the superstar is the subject of recent trade rumors.

This week on Showtime’s The Last Stand, Brian Custer asked Lillard, in a hypothetical situation, whether he’d like to be traded to the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, Miami Heat, or Brooklyn Nets. The 7-time All-Star chose Miami and Brooklyn as his preferred destinations.

NBA Insider Chris Haynes later reported that it’s “pretty safe to say” Lillard isn’t interested in joining the Celtics. On Thursday night, Lillard addressed the new development via Instagram Live.

During the broadcast, Jayson Tatum left a message in the comment section. The Celtics forward wrote “Damn we get it you don’t like Boston”, which was accompanied by a pair of laughing emoticons.

Lillard saw Tatum's comment and said “Now you got my boy JT on here offended.”

Lillard is expected to continue with the Trail Blazers next season. If Boston proposes a trade for the 32-year-old guard, their offer would likely include Jaylen Brown.
